Haley and Tyler met in college, soon after the start of the school year when Haley was a freshman and Tyler was a senior. They met at Tyler’s house, which was close to campus where both of them liked to hang out sometimes. He later realized Haley was in his calculus class, and she became his tutor for the year. When Tyler was getting his Master’s degree in Boston, he endured a life-threatening health issue and spent three weeks in the ICU. Haley realized then that she never wanted to spend a day without him in her life. After five years together, with four of those being long distance, Tyler made Haley breakfast, bought her flowers, and proposed to Haley. Of course, she said YES.
