Kaitlin + Jacob // South Dakota Wedding Photography

“From her love of Lord of the Rings to her sarcastic humor, I knew I had to get to know her.”

That’s what Jacob says about meeting Kaitlin for the first time at a high school reunion.  After moving from out of state, Kaitlin decided to attend the reunion with her new college roommate, who also happened to have gone to high school with Jacob. After a couple of months of hanging out and realizing how many common interests they had, they decided to make it official and go on a first date.  It was an awkward experience, since they are both pretty quiet people.  They eventually got a lot more comfortable around each other, and 4 years later Jacob took Kaitlin for a very special walk in the park. When they got near the butterfly garden, he got down on one knee to ask her to marry him!

Rustic vibes, a beautiful campground, a little rain, and a gorgeous sunset.  Just a few ways to describe Kaitlin and Jacob’s wedding. Here are some favorites from their big day.
