I met up with Beckett and his parents in downtown Minneapolis earlier this summer, and it was a great time getting to know him! I know his mom, Jen, from my previous job I had at a consulting firm in St. Paul. I had no idea what an adorable son she had on her hands. Beckett was exploring everything in sight. Even the ground, which he pointed to and pronounced “asphalt”. A very smart 2-year-old indeed 🙂
Beckett was consistently stating that he needed to be places. He definitely had an agenda! When his mom or dad would pick him up, he would then say “no, I NEED to be over there!” and point somewhere else in the area. Then he would make his way to his destination, making it a blast for me to follow him around and have the element of surprise as to where he would end up next.
