It’s been far too long since I’ve submitted a blog post for my website. The year 2015 was such a crucial year for me, as we were expecting and welcomed our son, Weston, into the world. As many of you probably know by now, my husband and I also had a very eventful year in 2014, as we were expecting and welcomed our daughter, Edith, into the world… however, she unfortunately passed away unexpectedly during labor. We were devastated, heartbroken, and grief-stricken. We still are, and we will always miss and long for Edith Auburn Weischedel, as she would be one year old. Finding out we had another little one on the way was such a blessing, and the fact that he made it here safe and sound and is sleeping in the other room as I speak makes me beam with joy. With the emotions and the roller coaster of ups and downs I’ve been through in the past couple of years, the writing and marketing I’ve been able to focus on for my business has been somewhat put on the back burner. Now that I have some time to dedicate, I will be posting some throwback sessions and weddings to share some of my favorite moments with the camera and my clients. So many of them deserve to be shared and I have neglected to do so for quite some time!
This post’s purpose, however, is to shamefully plug how cute my son is and how happy he makes me feel. Welcome, Weston Royal, to the world. He’s 12 weeks old now, and getting to be such a big boy! I look forward to seeing how he inspires me and motivates me in the coming years with my business and in my every day life.
