A sunset vibe, with subtle Disney accents… what’s not to love?! I love it when a couple decides to make their day unique with special accents that describe who they are. Anna and Justin were in a long distance relationship for a good part of their time together, so they spent many evenings driving to each other and watching sunsets on the road. Anna also grew up on Sunset Drive! Anna loves all things Disney, and since Justin wouldn’t let her have a full out Disney themed wedding, they decided to sneak some of it in throughout the day. She had a hidden Mickey Mouse shape in her hair piece, and they had a beautiful moonlit graphic overhead as they had their first dance.
Anna and Justin first met when they were returning from D-Camp (Discipleship Camp), when he carried her bags to her car. They met again at state wrestling, sitting together and getting to know each other. Justin remembers that day vividly, seeing that open chair next to her and taking his chance. Within 15 minutes he knew he wanted to marry her. “I had never had so much fun talking to anyone in my entire life and I never wanted that day to end.” He never gave up and after many texts, fuzzy feelings, and belly butterflies, they dated for 3 years before he asked for Anna’s parents permission to marry her. Of course they obliged, so Justin hid the ring box in the Christmas tree at Anna’s parent’s house. He knew Anna would find it when they started taking it down the next day on January 3rd. When she found it, he got down on one knee and she said “YES!”.
Another unique thing Anna and Justin decided to do was get ready together in the same room at the church. They hung out with family and friends while Anna got her hair and makeup done and Justin got suited up for the day. That is, up until Anna was ready to get into her gorgeous dress… then she snuck away for the finishing touches before having an official “First Look” with her man. Anna also had a first look with her bridesmaids, her flower girls, her dad, and her friends from college! Here are some highlights from their magical day becoming husband and wife…

And I thought it was just too fitting. I had to make a Mickey Mouse shape with their wedding rings….

Congratulations Anna and Justin!
