Jamie and Steven met in high school through a very good mutual friend, Lee, but didn’t start dating until they were sophomores in college when their adamant and determined friend Lee reintroduced them to each other. With some break time here and there and in between, they took their time finding themselves and growing as individuals, until their friend Lee sadly passed away. It was at his funeral that they finally realized how much they needed and relied on one another. “We decided then that we should work on a forever story”, Jamie says. Steven asked Jamie to marry him while they were taking a walk along a beautiful Florida beach while on vacation, and with zero hesitation Jamie gladly said YES!
